Review of The Artist (2011) by Amjad A — 11 Jul 2013
A masterpiece, a 5 star classic and a work of art. Amazingly shot, perfectly portrayed, a brilliant representation of the silent era of Hollywood. The cast is perfect and it's amazing how you know exactly what's going on without one single piece of dialogue.
That is so hard to accomplish in the 21st century, but I guess that's how brilliantly made this picture was. It's cinema at its best and it certainly deserved the Oscar.
