Review of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (1939) by Ryan V — 09 Dec 2011
Very very enjoyable Sherlock Holmes actioner here. In the second of the series, Rathbone and Bruce are ALREADY having a ball as Holmes and Watson as they try to solve a mystery laid forth by their arch-nemesi, Professor Moriarty involving staging a murder to distract him stealing the crown jewels.
Verty very smartly played out. Had a ball with this one. Well worth checking out.
