Review of The Accountant (2001) by John A — 06 Sep 2012
Cleverly written piece that succeeds because of McKinnon's off-kilter performance. It's probably best the first time, with the element of surprise fully intact. Repeat viewings are enjoyable, in a more modest sense.
The filmmaking itself is solid, but not remarkable, as the film relies primarily on its words to create the mood for the piece.
