Review of The 13th Warrior (1999) by Charles G — 14 Oct 2018
This is honestly one of my favorite movies and severely underrated! I remember seeing it in theaters when I was 13 (coincidence?!) and have gone back to this movie many times since. I find the acting really on point for the type of movie it is, action with soul.
It tells a tale that you don't see much the days and delivers. I get teary at the end everytime and congratulate it on fixing a mistake in movies that bothers me, when Ahmed Ibn "Little Brother" Fahdlan learns the language of the North Man, so you don't have two separate language barriers in the same movie or sub titles, you don't see that ever and it brings me great joy when ever it gets to that point.
A must watch for anyone into action.
