Review of Temple (2017) by Autumn M — 23 Feb 2018
The concept of the movie was promising and the cast, especially the child actor, pulled their roles off well. However, the story itself was really disappointing. You spend 60 minutes building up to the actual horror and then the last 18 minutes feels really rushed.
It felt like they ran out of money and needed to wrap it up quickly. Unexplained (and unneccesary) twists, the extreme dark during the most important scenes, and an ending to one of the characters stories that just outright doesn't make sense.
