An excellent recording of an excellent production of the stage show. Angela Lansbury is of course wonderful, playing up all of Mrs. Lovett's comedy, and camping the hell out of some parts to wonderful effect. George Hearn probably isn't the best Sweeney, but he's very good. The Toby's also quite good, and the Anthony and Johanna are actually quite funny (in a good way.).
All in all a great recording/DVD.
