Review of Swearnet: The Movie (2014) by Sardoniccharm — 11 Sep 2014
To start off, I am a massive Trailer Park Boys fan, and that's probably why I'm willing to overlook some of this movie. This movie was made primarily for people like me, guys who live and die by the Trailer Park Boys, so without any further commentary, if you don't actually like the Boys, then there's nothing in this movie for you at all.
That being said, it lacks a bit of the heart the TPB have. The story is a bit uninteresting and hard to follow, and the jokes are mainly just "gross-out" kind of jokes, usually related to someones mother getting ****.
There were a few good laughs, the post-credits scene was particularly hillarious, but all in all it falls a bit flat.
If you're a fan of the Boys, go see it, have a few laughs and a few drinks but if you're not skip this.
