Elizabeth Taylor gave what was her most powerful performance to date and she still looks breathtakingly beautiful in the stunning close-ups. Katherine Hepburn is right on target and the theatricality of her performance is very appropriate.
One of the most facinating films to come out of a Tennessee Williams-play.
