Review of Suddenly Last Summer (2012) by Michele S — 22 Nov 2008
This film is *not* for the faint of heart, but it should not be missed -- especially if you are a fan of any of the key players! One of Tennessee Williams's grittier plays, the climax is absolutely incredible.
Truly disturbing. Outstanding performances under Mankiewicz's expert direction make for one riveting film. Set design for Sebastien's garden and cottage is particularly stunning.
