I was curious as this is the film Ian Curtis watched before taking his own life. I found an incredibly touching film...Herzog's take on pursuit of the American Dream. Character oddities allow for some humour in an otherwise tragic tale.
It's hailed as one of the greatest films ever made and I can see why.
