Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Daniel D — 25 Apr 2018

Maybe it's the product of having watched this for the fourth or fifth time. Or maybe it's nostalgia for old action movies. But this movie is awesome. People complain about the casting however I don't see what they could change.

Particularly with Bison and Balrog. I think a lot of viewers get distracted by the campiness or because they want more realism. But it's supposed to play like graphic novel and Hollywood did not know how to do a Dark Knight rises yet.

Especially for their dvd level budget they did push the medium some. I enjoy Legend of Chun-Li because I am a Kreuk fan and I love video game lore.
