Review of Starchaser: The Legend of Orin (1985) by Joshua B — 10 Mar 2015

Starchaser tells the story of an unlikely young hero who uses the power of a sword to round up a gang of rebellious allies to take down an evil emperor. It is said to be one of the first animated movies to mix traditional and computer animation, as well as one of the first to have a 3-D release in theaters.

That would've made for several praises as one of the biggest innovating films of all time, seeing that it was one of the original films to practice a combo of techniques that blockbusters can't do without nowadays.

If only the idea of the story didn't come from a galaxy far, far away.
