Review of Starbuck (2011) by Mark C — 14 Apr 2013
Despite being a very funny comedy, STARBUCK is a genuinely beautiful and heartwarming story about the meaning of fatherhood - without being cloying or overdone. I cried through a good part of it, and it really is the best film I've seen in awhile.
(To anyone who may be put off by the initial raunchiness, the opening gag sets the plot for the whole picture, but not the tone - stay with it.).
