Review of Sound of Noise (2010) by Ola S — 01 Jan 2011
"Music for one apartment and six drummers" has its cult reputation on Youtube. The same bunch has now made a full length movie and if you're into that kind of humour, you'll find this incredibly funny.
You can call these six percussionists music terrorists. They attack a hospital and play on a patient. They attack a bank and play through the stamps and destroy bank notes, in perfect rhythm. They attack a concert hall and let the caterpillars work in a certain beat. The final is great, when they attack a power station and turn the lights off and on in a whole city. Of course in disciplined rhythm.
True drum anarchy in a large scale. The hero here is anyway the tone deaf police inspector, who finally finds a way to stop this wild bunch. And finds love too. If you're in the right mood, you may perhaps even adore this very special movie.
