Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Mike C — 10 Jan 2005
surreal to the nth degree. heavy-handed imagery recalling both a post-apocalyptic dreamscape and judgement day, somehow simulteneously. particularly critical of consumerism and consumer culture.
slow moving and densely packed. sort of an updated 'brazil' for the post-pepsi generation..
