Honestly I am no where surprised the critics hated this film. Liberal closed minded beliefs keep you from ever believing differently. You cant get the story because you dont know how to feel remorseful for the wrongs in you heart.
Regular movie goers that dont believe in anything beyond what they see in front of their face are not going to like this either because their minds are closed to anything else. Kudos to the filmmakers for doing this film.
