Review of Six Shooter (2004) by Ashley L — 14 Feb 2011
We follow the life of this man for a short period of time. His wife just passed away and we get the notion that he's very much troubled, although he doesn't show it.
On this trainride that forms the core of the short movie, and also in some symbolic way, he sits across this faul young man. It's pretty remarkable how one can think like this,.
Soon you believe he's evil due to traumatic experiences. The couple in the same cart certainly don't agree with him and we see a troubled and conflictues interaction between the three.
This speech is one of the strong points. It even brings one to an unthinkable act. Being that done, it realy gets intresting, it's curious how they handle the situation, 'till it gets out.
Of hand... The stand off we see is one of the most peculiar I've seen. Also the man's behavior is curious. The last scene is also so meaningful. Good short film wth a lot of meaning!
