Review of Sisters (2015) by Daniel R — 02 Jan 2016
I freely admit that I am a sucker for pretty much anything Fey and Pohler do, as well as Maya Rudolf, but I was genuinely touched by the end of the movie and had probably a dozen laugh-out-loud moments getting there.
The chemistry is amazing and the performances by several SNL alums are terrific (looking at you especially, Bobby Moynihan and Rachel Dratch!). I've seen it twice already and might go a third time just to see the party again.
Definitely worth your time to see in the theater. BTW ... a shout-out to Greta Lee as Hae-Won whose opening scene interaction in the Korean nail salon with Pohler is comedic gold.
