This is one of those 'so bad its good' movies that I absolutely love! This is ridiculously cheesy, full of nonstop Schwarzenegger-esque one liners and the added bonus of a Tia Carrere sex scene (if you like that sort of thing.

..). Dolph Lundgren could have been the heir to Arnie and Sly but pretty short movie wouldnt have helped him at the time. In a movie about martial arts and Japanese gangs its quite strange to see Brandon Lee, son of martial arts legend Bruce, playing the streetwise wisecracking LA cop while Lundgren played a wannabe samurai! If your not looking for good fight scenes and cheesy gags rather than Oscar winning acting then this is your movie!
