On the weekend where Steve Martin once again rapes the corpse of the Pink Panther, I think we should look back and remember what real physical comedy looks. In Sherlock Jr, Keaton puts every fiber of his being into making the film funny.
What people take for granted is how difficult and dangerous all of Keaton's stunts were. His dedication to the art of comedy is pretty much unmatched.
