Review of September (1987) by Yong C — 08 Jun 2007
A disaster at the box office, no one went to go see it. allen's philosophy of making movies isn't to make big box office hits with millions of dollars (which is why he can turn up one movie a year), he make films for the sake of making movies and working constantly, doing what he enjoys, and hopefully people will show up to watch it and like it, and if they don't oh well, maybe the next film will do better.
I think september has the deepest message out of all of allen's movies, and mia farrow does a great job in the film.
