Review of Saw V (2008) by Randall B — 12 Jun 2010
This was installment was more of an informational film than death film. It tries to answer some unloose ties and describe Jigsaw's earlier life with his wife. The unbelievable fact is that Detective Hoffman was with Jigsaw ever since the first film and further back.
So the opening trap in Saw V was a past experience. Even though it was very confusing, it all made sense. Why didn't we catch this from the first Saw. There is no way John could have hoisted Paul(barbed wire trap) by himself.
What else doesn't make sense is that if John is an engineer how did he do some of those surgical traps. What ever the case is, this film was great.
