Review of Saw III (2006) by Victoria P — 15 Nov 2011
This is by far the best one in the series. There's just so much to love about it. The great acting (especially Tobin Bell, who chills you to the bone and Angus Macfadyen's role was just heartbreaking and the trials he faced was just brillantly performed), the relentless pacing, the crazy traps, the magnificent story, and the gruesome gruesome gore.
Like the epic departure of Dina Meyer's character and the brain surgary. That part actually bothered me. Nothing visual either. It was the sound effects of the saw cutting into the skull. Reminded me of dentist visits.
Plus you start getting more information on Jigsaw's world. Start seeing some of the strings and how things are becoming more and more connected. I'm seriously looking forward to seeing how this extreme spiderweb is fully constructed.
