Review of Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (1970) by Karen G — 28 Jan 2009

This is getting five full stars because, in the context of animation movies, this is by far the best. It has the best voice cast, terrifically catchy songs, that, only one of them could possibly be considered boring and not fun to sit through. The story is great, and Mickey Rooney's laugh is just heartwarming.

It also gets five stars, because at the time it was made, it was still and ingenious piece of cinema that really couldn't be matched.

Also, it's a great Christmas movie.
