The first film in the Samurai Trilogy that tells of the greatest swordsman of all. This movie is simply a masterpiece of Samurai and Japanese cinema. Chronicles the rise of Takezo from hoodlum to Samurai and continues to become the legend in parts 2 and 3.
Must see if you like Japanese culture or the history of the Samurai.
