Review of Sadako vs. Kayako (2016) by Bruce F — 26 Jan 2017

Until the "fight" happens, the movie is as lifeless as either Sadako or Kayako. It felt like two film competing with the other to take as much screen time as possible. With 17 minutes left in the film, the two stories suddenly decide to actually do something and what I got was a dull, boring, and underwhelming letdown consisting of two vengeful spirits slapping each other for about five minutes.

I won't claim to be a fan or expert on either franchise, but I can say that this was disservice to two horror icons.
