Review of Rustom (2016) by Borhan K — 17 Oct 2016
A cliched courtroom drama that fails to convince whether it wants to be a crime thriller or a self induced patriotic themed drama. Ultimately it turns out to be both but in a preposterous fashion. The court room scenes are really dull with the arguments being mostly silly as well as old school.
Akshay kumar is consistent till the very end and the rest of the cast are complete waste of time. Most of the set decoration is pretty decent and valid except for few things which I am pretty sure were not invented till 1990s .
Overall What could have been a exceptional thriller goes pretty wasted.
