Review of Rush (1999) by Jake H — 17 Mar 2008
A lot of people have reacted negatively to Rush, but I think the central storyline is really compelling. It's not the first, and maybe not the best, film about narcotics agents skirting the edge of sanity, but Patric is such a fine actor that it's one of my favorites.
Gregg Allman has thankfully few lines, but looks the part of a sleazy Texas drug dealer. The soundtrack by Eric Clapton is an added bonus.
