Review of Romeo and Juliet (2014) by Angie B — 06 Feb 2015

I was really lucky to see this in August 2013 and as a huge Shakespeare buff, I thought David Leveaux did the play justice. Both Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad's acting was superb, especially during the intimate scens together on the balcony.

The simplicity of the set did not distract me from the plot line. I was also lucky enough to get to meet Orlando afterwards and he was a complete gentleman and thanked me for my praise of the production, and also thanked me for reminding him of home with my British accent.
