Review of Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired (2008) by Paul R — 12 Apr 2011
Roman Polanski is probably the most controversial yet tragic filmmakers int he past 50 years. After surviving the holocaust, being witnessed to the murder of his wife by Charles manson and making some great cinematic classics like Chinatown and The Pianist, he is now known as the man who molested a young child and escaped from the charges for refuge in Europe.
This is not only a fascinating look at the man's life, but a very good detailed account on the court case, the trials that happened. One of the best documentaries.
