Saw this for the first time since I was very little, well over 20 years and it is one of the few that I find just as good. It starts off as a very happy story, the turning point is much like in Bambi, but the remainder of the tale grows incredibly dark.
This is not a happy ending story, but it is daring, dark, and beautiful.
