Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by Matthew S — 23 Dec 2008
If your loved one went into the city leaving you at home, and bombs were detonated within the metropolis which launched toxic ashes into the air; and what if the government were telling you to stay in your home, seal it completely so that no outside air could get in and do not come into contact with anyone who has been exposed? Then your loved-one turns up demanding entry but is obviously contaminated. What would you do?
This realistic and gripping thriller examines exactly this dilemma, and does it really well. Emotions run high and the actors excelled themselves. The special effects were kept to a minimum and most of the action takes place in the sealed house, giving it the ideal claustrophobic atmosphere.
I loved it and highly recommend it.
