Review of Ride the High Country (1962) by David S — 04 Apr 2010

I really love peckinpah's films, I love the tough charcters he creates that live and die by morals and a code. It makes me think of the old days when you could trust someones word. This has to be one of my favourites in that aspect.

I like how he took these two old western stars and gave them a chance to grace the screen once again. And what a amazing job they do! When most people think of peckinpah they think of The wild bunch which is a great film yes but I think these smaller and not so violent films are the better of his collection.
