Review of Red Sonja (1985) by Markku H — 21 Sep 2008
I loved this movie. Red Sonja was a spin-off of the Conan comics. I guess to really enjoy these movies, you have to understand that Conan and Red Sonja were not "super heroes". They didn't slay the villain and rescue the princess because it was romantic or chivalrous.
They did it as a matter of survival in the brutal "hyborian" age. They are what I like to call "evil heroes" which are the most fun in my opinion.
