RED CLIFF is the best film of the year, no contest. I've seen it twice and it just gets better. A glorious epic film, visually beautiful with fully drawn characters. The ensemble is a powerhouse of first rate actors.
Tony Lung and Takeshi Kaneshiro are wonderful, and the supporting players also keep the bar high. This is more than an action film, it is a historical epic with battle scenes depicted as never before.
The film features a strong soundtrack throughout. This is what TROY should have been. I may have to go see it again.
