Review of Quo Vadis (1951) by Matthew B — 09 Dec 2008
Powerful, thrilling big spectacle filmmaking in the best sense. Great performances, particularly from Peter Ustinov as Nero, and an absolutely harrowing last hour make this one of the best of its kind.
Not to mention Miklos Rozsa's amazing score, one of his best ever.
