Review of Platoon (1986) by Nelson P — 29 Mar 2012
Platoon is a movie that is often said to be the greatest war movie of all time, which is something I totally disagree with, while it has great performances by Willem Dafoe and Tom Berenger, and exceptional direction from Oliver Stone, Charlie Sheen just couldn't pull off the leading man.
Platoon is a great movie that should have been made outside of the 80's, before Apocalypse Now or after Full Metal Jacket.
