Review of Philadelphia (1993) by Richard C — 11 May 2009
I agree this film may lack the grit and edge if had been made post millennium - but that said this is classic cinema at it's simplest and best. No fancy editing or shooting style (apart from the weird and over-done red lights bit) - this is all about the story and Tom Hanks is superb as always.
