Review of Persepolis (2007) by Fernando C — 03 Dec 2010
This 2007 French autobiographical animated art film, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Marjane Satrapi, is probably one of the greatest animated films made in the new millennium. Persepolis is a triumph for animated films filled with black-and-white powerful emotional and dramatic moments that will leave you watching this film over and over again.
A controversial art film which is a great contribution to cinema Persepolis delivers and leaves you asking for more.
