Sparse, stripped back drama about a man trying to reconnect with himself, his family and the world. Features one of the most dazzling and unfussed monologues ever filmed. Ry Cooder's spacious score helps this film breathe, whilst Wenders' direction is astute, restrained and frequently bewitching.
