Review of Paradox (2016) by Robert S — 15 Dec 2017
The appreciation of low budget sy-fy requires an enormous suspension of belief from the viewer. Special effects in this movie look like they were made with the "erector set" I played with as a kid.
Time travel movie plots are never believable so if sequences of events become apparently absurd then you should do as they do here, just let them accumulate into mounting contradictions. In the end, explosions can get you out of any logical blind alleys, but you have to be sure that everything gets annihilated.
If something does survive, you might contrive a surprise ending. The unpretentious of the movie is worth 3.5 stars and maybe 4.
