Review of Panic Room (2002) by Sumit S — 07 Nov 2012
One of the most ingenious & entertaining thrillers to come out in the last decade, Panic Room is a highly original, nail- biting, thrilling ride that has all the elements of David Fincher's trademarks, further cementing his place as one of the best directors of the current era.
It is a further proof that Fincher is one of cinema's true modern masters & speaks of his tremendous control over narration. He has put enough elements to satisfy his die-hard fans and enough magic as well to keep the general audience interested.
Many, including me, might call it Fincher's most under-rated film. Its a gem of a thriller, suspense that is as effectively directed as it is performed.
