Review of Our Blushing Brides (1930) by Lee Anne W — 21 Jul 2010
Joan, Anita Page, and Dorothy Sebastian, all three impossibly gorgeous hot-cha flapper types, work in a department store and look for love.
Joan is so, so beautiful, and since it's a department store movie, there are lots of those scenes where a bevy of pretty girls model the current fashions, lots of bias-cut dresses and some pretty scanty lingerie. The costumes and set design (a crazy modern treehouse!) are sublime.
