As a mom I let my kids watch Shane and being his first movie I enjoyed watching it the comedy was funny and the actors where right on the lines I think the idiots that gave it bad reviews are just a bush of old farts who don't know crap.
Look at Drew Carey not the big movie award winner but dam funny just like Shane if you watch him he's down to earth and he welcomes everyone thanks for being you Shane.
