Review of North Face (2008) by David S — 16 May 2010
I've been a sucker for climber movies ever since 'K2' and 'North Face' is without a doubt a worthy addition to the 'genre'. Camera work is perfect, actors perform admirably and the story... while not for everybody, I'm sure it will touch people who like movies that strive to be more than empty audio-visual special effects shells.
Oh yes, a shoutout to Hollywood - this is how 'based on true events' movie is supposed to be done!
