Review of Nocturnal Animals (2016) by Peerapon P — 20 Dec 2016

This film is a balance of compelling story telling, brilliant cinematography and imagery and portions that are highly disturbing and uncomfortable. I wanted to look away during the most jarring part of the film but was unable to as I needed to see where it was going.

The storyline is very powerful and I appreciated the ending very much as it did not tie up the story into neat bows but left you with questions. Both Gyllenhaal and Adams were amazing.
