Review of Night Must Fall (1937) by Jeff B — 07 Jul 2010
Great suspense film starring Robert Montgomery as a mysterious man hired to look after Rosalind Russell's aunt May Whitty, all the while a murder has just taken place and the killer is still on the loose (I wonder who it is.
..). Great cast all around, Whitty is very entertaining (and I laughed quite a bit at one of her scenes near the end) and Montgomery is excellent acting so innocent and yet so suspicious. It's a little obvious that it's based on a play, but it's not a big deal, it's an entertaining film with a good ending.
