Review of New Rose Hotel (1999) by Dr. A — 24 Mar 2008

Havn't read the story... saw the film and a lot of things are still quite blury. The names in the film made this a relative underground yet unknown hit. I expected to see more cyberpunk "things", or even some explanation to what was going on, and maybe that's what lacked.

Apparently this flick was directed to a specific crowd, the one that already knew the short story... or maybe it pushes us toward reading the short story and then, come back and watch the film again. But that's just one man's opinion.
