Review of Nanking (2007) by Reuben O — 28 Dec 2007
A documentary which dramatizes events of the Nanking massacre. Was hesitant to catch it initially. You'll see images which capture reality and show us what fellow human beings are capable of. This coupled with recounts of victims themselves help make the event a comprehensible and vivid one - you have to visualise many situations for yourself.
If History is indeed the study of human possibility, then History students (reiterating a friend's point) should catch this.
