You either dig it, or you don't. I, for one, felt truly moved when the half-dead bug-typewriter explained to Bill that writers live the same sad truth as all of us, the only difference being that they file a report.

Best way to review Cronenberg films is to list things that were said while watching it:

"What?".

"Gross.".

"Brilliant.".

"I, uh . . . what?".

"Okay, I can deal with this, no big deal.".

"Aaaand, now I'm uncomfortable again.".

"Oooooh, I get it.".

"Wait, huh?".

"If you say so, David.".
